The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbarics at Southwestern Medical Center receives national award for Clinical Excellence
March 23, 2015Lawton, OK (March 12, 2015) – The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbarics has earned the Center of Distinction Award from Healogics for outstanding clinical outcomes in wound care. The Center achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for twelve consecutive months, including patient satisfaction higher than 92 percent, a minimum wound healing rate of at least 91 percent within 30 median days to heal, and other quality outcomes. There were 506 centers eligible for the Center of Distinction award, only 172 achieved the honor.
