Behavorial Health Services
Behavioral Health
At Southwestern Behavioral Health Center, we understand that the need for mental health services is great. SWBH offers inpatient programs for Children, Adolescents and Adults and an Outpatient program for follow up care for continued evaluation. Services include free and confidential screenings. All inpatient programs offer an individualized treatment plan created by a caring, highly experienced team using the most progressive therapies available with the individual and the family involved in the process. Individuals ages 4-18 will attend an accredited public school year round.
I recently purchased Valium on https://rosarydental.com/general-dentistry/diazepam-online/, and I can already feel a massive difference in my battle with insomnia. I can now sleep all night and wake up in the morning feeling rested. The promptness and quality of service at https://rosarydental.com/general-dentistry/diazepam-online/ have been excellent.
The Children’s Program
The decision to hospitalize a child is difficult and usually made after all other options have failed. The Children’s Program recognizes that emotional or behavioral problems do not develop overnight and that positive changes take time. We use a behavior modification approach called The Road to Success, which is a motivational tool designed to help each child accomplish his/her goals. We place a strong emphasis on intense family and individual therapy. The program also incorporates play and art therapy and structured therapeutic activities for a well-rounded program.
The Adolescent Program
For some adolescents, the teen years are overwhelmingly difficult. Depression, suicidal behavior, drug and alcohol abuse and confrontations with parents and authorities become routine. Our program emphasizes intense individual and family therapy, art therapy, drug and alcohol education and prevention and an outside ROPES course: an activity therapy that helps build trust and healthy communication skills. Therapy focuses on anger management, grief issues, family dynamics, self-esteem and recognition of accomplishments.
The Adult Program
The Adult Program is an acute, short-term program for adults ages 18 and older, with a psychiatric diagnosis, who are in need of a safe, structured, therapeutic environment 24 hours a day. This treatment program focuses on rapid stabilization and quality treatment in a secure and comfortable environment. Specialized group sessions for victims of trauma and those suffering with acute depression are provided, as well as intensive individual and family/couples therapy, when indicated. The program is designed to quickly return clients to their optimal level of functioning outside of this setting.
The Outpatient Behavioral Health Services
The Outpatient Services are offered to children, adolescents and adults. Our services provide evaluation, medication management and follow up services by healthcare providers who specialize in psychiatry.
